Vintage

We picked our early in September because of the great sugar-acid balance and excellent taste.  In fact, the weather conditions enhanced the ripeness and flavors to show a very distinctive varietal character.

Winemaking

Right after harvesting the grapes, we put them through a very gentle press and then moved the juice into stainless steel tanks.  Later we clarified and racked the juice before conducting a very cold fermentation lasting three weeks, which allowed us to retain generous levels of aromas and characteristics from this variety.  After aging the wine for a few months in stainless steel, we filtered and bottled this fresh, non-malolactic wine.

Winemaker Comments

With an elegant light pale color, this beautiful dry summer wine shows bold peach and tropical aromas, reinforced by citrus and mango flavors.  Nicely balanced with enough richness and acidity to deliver a clean, long finish, you will be able to enjoy the newest member of the Gordon Brothers family of wine with salads, blue cheese, oysters and fish dishes.
