VINTAGE
Vineyard walkthroughs were performed to sample grape clusters in order to determine when harvesting would allow us to capture the desired flavor and aromas. Harvest took place in late September when flavor/aroma profile was achieved and when the sugar acid content had reached an optimum level.
WINEMAKING
Right aver harvesting, grapes were pressed and the juice moved to stainless steel tanks. After that, the must was clarified and racked before adding yeast. Juice was transferred to French oak barrels for a two-week warm fermentation.

COMMENTS
This pale straw-colored Chardonnay’s aromas remind one of pineapples blended with citrus and pears, set against a butterscotch background. The wine is balanced and shows generous richness and acidity, delivering an inviting finish. The roundness and texture will make this an excellent wine when paired with cream-based chicken or pork dishes.
