“One of Washington state’s oldest winemaking and grape-growing families continues to shine with the king of wines as its works not only with its old vines but its younger Clone 6 fruit. Lovely oak notes of gingersnap cookie, cedar spice, chocolate mint and tar mix with aromatics of Van cherries, moist earth, minerality and steak juice. It’s luscious between the lips with blueberry, huckleberry, red currant and Craisin flavors. There’s more minerality in the midpalate that gives way to a finish of violets, anise and bittersweet chocolate."
